Cancellation Policy
At Touristy, we know that plans can change — and we always aim to be as fair and flexible as possible while respecting the time our wonderful guides set aside for your day.
Standard Cancellation Policy
Full refund: Cancel 7 days or more before your tour and receive a 100% refund.
50% refund: Cancel between 7 days and 24 hours before your tour start time and receive a 50% refund.
No refund: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour start time are non-refundable.
We recommend notifying us as early as possible if your plans change. We’re happy to reschedule where possible, depending on availability.
Important Note for Cruise Ship Guests
If you’re arriving into Dublin or Dún Laoghaire by cruise ship, we understand there is always a small risk of last-minute itinerary changes or docking cancellations due to weather. These decisions are outside of your control, but they can also leave us with very little notice.
We strongly recommend that cruise guests consider purchasing travel insurance that covers shore excursion cancellations. This helps protect your tour investment in the event your ship cannot dock as planned.
If your cruise line cancels your arrival and you notify us before your scheduled pickup time, we may be able to offer a partial refund or credit toward a future tour — though this cannot be guaranteed.

Can I Reschedule My Tour?
Yes – in most cases!
You’re welcome to request a reschedule up to 48 hours before your tour, subject to availability. Just get in touch and we’ll do our best to accommodate your new date.
Weather & Safety
Our tours run rain or shine — and sometimes that Irish mist adds a little magic!
However, in rare cases of severe weather or dangerous road conditions, we may need to adjust your itinerary or reschedule. If we cancel a tour for safety reasons, you’ll receive a full refund or be offered a new date.

When Will I Receive My Refund?
Refunds are processed to your original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
